Fainting Goats
Myotonic goats or Fainting Goats and a breed of goat whose muscles freeze for about 10 seconds when they get startled. This is painless to the goat even though it generally results in the fainting goat falling over on it's side.
This is caused by a hereditary genetic disorder called myotonia congenita. Fainting goats have many names: Myotonic Goats, Tennessee Goats, Tennessee Meat Goats, Nervous Goats, Stiff Leg Goats, among a few others. We raise the smaller of the breed and they are friendly, easy to care for, intelligent, funny, and desirable pets for a small farm. Myotonic goats raise very well with the Nigerian Dwarf Goats. We raise friendly, colorful, and easy fainters. Our Fainting Goats are registered and either polled or disbudded. Myotonic's kid year round,
